New Beginnings

Life is a journey. I've decided to follow my heart and pursue a different path of teaching full time. Photography is still a very important part of my life, but I am no longer scheduling sessions.

I will be happy to provide you with a recommendation for some other wonderful photographers in town if requested. Thanks for your interest!

Quack Quack - Gainesville Children's Photographer

A lot of the photo shoot ideas I have that involve my own children (and sometimes my nieces and nephew) are impulsive, so one day I got an idea and went and got half a dozen ducklings for spring pictures. My kids absolutely loved them and they were a wonderful addition to our Easter weekend. There will definitely be a session involving ducklings next year!

Sweet little K and her mom stopped by the studio last week. She recently celebrated her second birthday, so I got to capture her in all her two-year-old cuteness.

I had the pleasure of taking sweet little baby A's newborn images last week. He's a feisty little guy and didn't want much to do with sleeping, but you wouldn't know that from his photos.

Moving really wore me out, but I am so ready to get back to work! I am excited to have some studio space available to me for indoor portraits, and there are so many beautiful spots in Gainesville and the surrounding areas. One of my recent favorites is downtown Alachua. So many possibilities!

I am looking for a couple more newborn models. All newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your own home and work best within the first two weeks. Multiples are a plus! That's what I'm feeling right now. My two-year-old son has been quite strong-willed lately, especially at bedtime. Got him to bed early tonight and I'm feelin good.

I've got a lot of work ahead of me in the next couple weeks, but I'm looking forward to getting settled in down in Alachua.

My good friend had a baby boy recently and I had the pleasure of photographing him at his home while he was only three days old. He did not like being naked, but with the heater on full blast, he lulled himself to sleep for long enough stretches to get some great shots.

I am just starting to get through these, but these are a couple of my favorites so far.
